During his visit to Egleston Children’s Hospital, the lead star of the new ‘Spider-Man’ film admits that he has more or less twenty Spidey suits, because he keeps ripping them on the filming set.
The lead star of the highly-anticipated “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, Tom Holland, says that he has more or less twenty costumes of Spider-Man. When the young actor came for a radio interview with Seacrest Studio Atlanta in Egleston Children’s Hospital, he revealed that he broke quite a lot of the red-and-blue suits on the filming set.
Dressed in his Spidey “beauty suit,” Holland said, “I break them quite a lot because I have to do a lot of stunts and flips and stuff, so they rip.” He continued, “So, I think, we have 20 suits, I think, that we alternate. This is, actually, what we would call a beauty suit, which means it’s ‘picture ready.’ And then we have a stunt suit, which isn’t as nice as this one.”
During the interview, the young British actor also discussed his role as the titular superhero. “Spider-Man has always been a huge part of my life,” he said. “I loved the movies, I loved the comics, and I always just wanted to be Spider-Man. I could never have imagined that this would become a reality, and then to be here today and meet all you guys is such a privilege.”
