Photos of the ‘Mortal Combat: Legacy’ actress on the set of ‘Wonder Woman’ reveal she will portray Euboea.
New behind-the-scene pictures from “Wonder Woman” set have emerged online. Featuring a group of Amazonian characters on a beach, the photos posted on Kitana Fan Page’s Facebook page may reveal the role of “Mortal Combat: Legacy” actress Samantha Jo.
Dressed as an Amazon warrior, Jo is believed to play Euboea. She’s a great swimmer and a formidable warrior, who is also the travel companion of Diana Prince, portrayed by Gal Gadot, to America.
Jo is a martial artist and stunt woman. She was also a part of Canada’s national representation at international wushu tournaments in 2007-2008. She debuted as an actress in 2012, in the role of Kitana in “Mortal Combat: Legacy”, followed by her role as Car-Vex in 2013’s “Man of Steel”.
She worked as a stunt woman in several movies, including 2012’s “The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part II” for Bella Swan, “Man of Steel” for Faora, 2014’s “300: Rise of an Empire” for Artemisia and more.
Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince already made an appearance in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. The actress is joined by Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright in “Wonder Woman”, which is set for a June 2, 2017 U.S. release.
