Jon Watts, the director of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ helmer Taika Waititi drop a clue that the webslinger could appear alongside the God of Thunder in the third ‘Thor’ film.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man may not yet be done with his cameo appearance in the MCU movies after appearing in “Captain America: Civil War”. Jon Watts, the director of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, tweeted to “Thor: Ragnarok” helmer Taika Waititi to drop a clue that the webslinger could appear alongside the God of Thunder in the third “Thor” film.
Watts tweeted to Waititi first on Sunday, July 31 to ask if Spider-Man is going to be in the next “Thor” film. Waititi then hinted at the possibility of Holland’s Spidey crossing paths with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in the upcoming film by replying, “I just need his head. Send immediately.” Watts didn’t seriously respond to the tweet as he replied to it with a gif of Brad Pitt.
@TaikaWaititi Is Spidey gonna be in Thor: Ragnarok? Pls give a heads up bc it's a long flight and we still have a lot to shoot.
