A key ISIS terrorist has reportedly been killed following a security services operation. He smuggled suicide bombers out of the Jihadists’ base.
Abdul-Salam Hendawi, also known as Abu Abdo, was killed after a joint operation by Hezbollah and Syrian security agents, according to a Hezbollah TV station today.
Hendawi was alleged to have been responsible for smuggling into Lebanon from ISIS stronghold Raqqa two suicide bombers, who carried out an attack in Beirut on November 12 that left 43 dead and left more than 200 injured.
The ISIS fighter was ambushed in an ISIS-held area in Syria’s central province of Homs, AL-Manar TV said.
