Kanye West only “wants the best” for Taylor Swift.
The ‘Only One’ hitmaker has praised the ‘Shake It Off’ star just days after he released a song claiming he “made her famous”.
Speaking in a video obtained by X17, he said: “I want the best for that person. But it’s people going through real issues out here. It’s people that’s out of work. It’s people that’s in debt that can’t make it out of the debt. There’s people in debt that don’t have a shoe. There’s people that’s in debt that don’t have a hit album out also.
“The media tries to make this ongoing story and everything for hits. I don’t think people care about me or her in that way. People care about their families, their kids. If you like my music, listen to it. If you like her music, listen to it.”
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old rapper previously took to Twitter to insist he didn’t “diss” the 26-year-old singer in his song.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: “I did not diss Taylor Swift and I’ve never dissed her … First thing is I’m an artist and as an artist I will express how I feel with no censorship … 2nd thin I asked my wife for her blessings and she was cool with it …
“3rd thing I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings … 4th Bitch is an endearing term in hip hop like the word n***a (sic)”
