Chris Hemsworth is one of the most in demand actors around an now he is being linked to a new Allan Quatermain film.
This film is one of the projects that Sony has on the horizon and The Tracking Board has reported that Hemsworth is the actor that they want to lead the film.
H. Rider Haggard is the creator of legendary explorer Allan Quatermain and newcomer Bernett Brettler has penned the screenplay for the film.
We have seen a couple of adaptations of King Solomon’s Mines over the years and Sean Connery also took on the role back in 2003 in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
There is no more word on the project than that but it would be great to see this iconic literary adventurer back on the big screen.

He is also set to reprise the role of The Huntsman in The Huntsman: Winter’s War alongside Charlie Theron, Emily Blunt, and Jessica Chastin. The popular will also be in Ghostbusters next summer.
2015 has been another successful year with the billion dollar success of Avengers: Age of Ultron. We are going to see Hemsworth reprise the role of Thor next year as filming on Thor: Ragnarok will get under way. Thor: Ragnarok will be the third of three Marvel films to be released in 2017.
