The proto Killer Croc and the new Poison Ivy are bringing new threat to the Mad City as Penguin and Fish Mooney are back.
“Gotham” unleashes a new intense trailer before it returns with the third season on September 19. The footage is set against the ballad version of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”. It offers a sneak peek at the new monsters coming to The Mad City. It shows a glimpse at the proto Killer Croc and the new Poison Ivy.
“I don’t think Gotham’s running out of monsters anytime soon,” Jim Gordon says. While he no longer makes it his mission to protect Gotham, Penguin has more power in his hands. “GCPD is not Gotham. Gotham listens to me,” the evil man declares. Meanwhile, Fish Mooney is back determined to build a stronger army.
As Gordon takes a step back, a new hero will rise as a young Bruce Wayne seems to take his first step into becoming Batman. “I do this, there’s no turning back,” the boy tells his loyal butler Alfred.
In the next season, Gotham works in a monster-ridden Gotham as a bounty hunter and seeks to find answers about the Indian Hill escapees and why their powers appear to be killing them. Meanwhile, Bruce’s doppelganger roams the streets and Barbara and Tabitha open a new nightclub called The Sirens.
