Eagles of Death Metal are set to play in Paris three weeks after 89 people were killed in a massacre during their concert at the city’s Bataclan theatre.

Billboard has reported that the band are expected to join U2 on stage this weekend at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena.

U2 will be playing the venue on Sunday 6 December and Monday 7 December, with Eagles of Death Metal anticipated to join the band for their final song.

Eagles of Death Metal have also vowed to continue their tour, and want to be the first band to play the Bataclan since the attacks in Paris,

The band have revealed that their tour will continue in February 2016.

The Eagles of Death Metal tour was halted after the attack on the Bataclan in which 89 people died, including a British man and several record executives.

Since the attack, the band have spoken to Vice about the attack and have discussed how the sole British victim, Nick Alexander,“bled out in silence” to protect those around him.

Fans of the band have also started a campaign to get their cover of Duran Duran’s “Save A Prayer” to number one.
