Check Out Piece of Battle Concept Art From Captain America: Civil War

Captain America: Civil War

Captain America: Civil War is set to be one of the biggest movies of 2016 and we have a great new piece of concept art for you to take a look at.

The new image – which was released by Total Film – is a great new battle that sees the Avengers, and once friends, going head to head in a battle scene.

The movie will see Iron Man and Captain America coming down on different sides over the registration act – something that will split the once united Avengers in half.

The image shows War Hammer, Black Panther and Black Widow fighting with Iron Man, while The Winter Soldier and Ant Man are with Captain America.

However, Scarlett Johansson has already hinted that she takes on more of a mediator role in the new movie; this is her second Captain America film.

The movie will see Johansson reunite with Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Anthony Mackie. Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, and Elizabeth Olsen will be appearing in the Captain America franchise for the first time.

The movie is also going to see Chadwick Boseman take on the role of Black Panther for the first time, ahead of his own solo film in 2017.

Civil War is set to kick of Phase 3 of Marvel films in style as Anthony and Joe Russo return to the director’s chair for the second Captain America film; they steered The Winter Solider to critical and commercial success in 2014.

Captain America: Civil War will be the first of two Marvel films next year – the autumn will see audiences introduced to Doctor Strange; which is one of a series of new franchises that are on the horizon over the next couple of years.

Captain America: Civil War is already a hugely anticipated film and could be the first Captain America movie to gross over $1 billion at the global box office.

Captain America: Civil War is released 29th April 2016.
