The International Cricket Council (ICC) called bowling action of Bangladesh spinner Arafat Sunny illegal.
A letter from the ICC conveyed this to the Bangladesh authorities , said sources in the Bangladesh team in India on Saturday.
Presumably, Sunny will not be allowed to bowl until his bowling action is corrected and certified by an ICC panel of experts.
However, the details of the bowling action of Sunny, 29, and requirements for correction of it could not be known immediately.
Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed were reported for suspected bowling actions during the opening match of Bangladesh in the World Twenty20.
On 10 March the ICC officials expressed their concern about the bowling actions of the two bowlers.
